Lineage Piece Weapon & Style Tier List Guide Wiki
When I first started playing Lineage Piece, I made the same mistake most beginners make, I thought Fruits were the way to go. They’re not. After extensive testing and reaching end-game content, I’ve put together this complete beginner’s guide to help you skip the confusion and build a powerful character step by step.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through the best weapons and melee styles, how to get them, and which accessories, races, and traits actually matter.
Here’s everything I’ll cover:
- Lineage Piece Weapon & Style Tier List
- The Perfect Beginner Progression Path
- S-Tier Specs (End-Game Goals)
- A-Tier Specs (Mid-Game Powerhouses)
- B-Tier & C-Tier Specs (Early Game Goals)
- Best Accessories for Every Build
- Best Race for Melee and Weapon Builds
- Best Traits (And Which Ones to Avoid)
Lineage Piece Weapon & Style Tier List (Quick Overview)

Before we dive into the details, here’s a quick overview of how every spec in Lineage Piece ranks. I’ve based this tier list on overall damage output, farming efficiency, and how easy each spec is to use.
| Tier | Specs |
|---|---|
| S-Tier | Gilgamesh, Shadow, Aizen, Raiden |
| A-Tier | Rimuru, Gojo, Sukuna, Tensa Zangetsu |
| B-Tier | Excalibur, Player’s Dagger |
| C-Tier | Verdant Hero (Deku), Zangetsu, Yoru |
| D-Tier | Light Fruit, Quake Fruit, Gryphon, Stylish Bandit Slayer, Dual Katana |
Important Note: Fruits like Light and Quake seem tempting early on, but their damage scaling falls off hard in the mid-to-late game. The only reason I keep Light Fruit in my inventory is for the mobility (flight ability). Do not waste your gems trying to roll for rare Fruits for damage.
The Perfect Beginner Progression Path
If I had to start over, here is the exact path I would follow. This roadmap saves you from grinding specs that won’t help you progress:
Dual Katana → Gryphon → Light (for mobility only) → Yoru → Verdant Hero (Deku) → Gojo or Sukuna → Rimuru → Gilgamesh / Raiden / Aizen
Let me explain why this order works: each step prepares you to efficiently grind for the next one. Skipping ahead means you’ll be fighting bosses with weak damage and wasting time.
Now, let’s break down each tier in detail.
S-Tier Specs
These are the strongest specs in Lineage Piece. They deal the highest DPS and are what you should ultimately work toward. I’ll explain exactly how to get them and what makes each one special.
1. Aizen (Melee/Style)
Why It’s S-Tier: In my experience, Aizen competes with Raiden for the highest DPS in the entire game. It has excellent AOE damage and comes with a powerful damage boost utility (the F move). Many players consider this the best overall spec right now.
Buffed By:
- The Betrayer title (drops from Aizen boss)
- True Shinigami Race
How to Get Aizen:
- Travel to Hueco Mundo Island
- Find the Aizen NPC
- You’ll need drops from the Aizen boss (summon him by defeating Hollows)
- You must also have the True Shinigami Race (quest from True Shinigami NPC: kill 500 Hollows)
Aizen Mastery Requirements:
- Q1: Deal 1.5 Billion damage with Aizen
- Q2: Kill 25 players
- Q3: Defeat Aizen boss 15 times
- Q4: Obtain The Betrayer title
2. Raiden (Weapon)
Why It’s S-Tier: Raiden matches Aizen in raw DPS. The pole-arm mode focuses on single-target damage, and you switch to sword mode for AOE bursts. The only downside is the mode-switching animation, which makes it feel slightly less smooth than Shadow. Still, the damage numbers speak for themselves.
Buffed By:
- God of Eternity title (drops from Raiden boss)
- Archon Race
How to Get Raiden:
- Head to Frostborn Island
- Find the Raiden Seller NPC (left of spawn)
- You need the Archon Race first
- You also need drops from the Raiden boss inside the Plane of Euthymia Portal Raid
- To enter the raid, use the Shrine Key (dropped by Snow Bandits at Frostborn)
Raiden Mastery Requirements:
- Q1: Obtain God of Eternity title
- Q2: Archon Race
- Q3: Deal 1 Billion damage with Raiden
- Q4: Clear Plane of Euthymia Raid 15 times
3. Shadow (Weapon)
Why It’s S-Tier: Shadow has slightly lower DPS than Aizen and Raiden, but here’s the thing—it’s much easier to use. The animations are faster and smoother, and the AOE moves are excellent for farming. If you value comfort over a tiny damage edge, Shadow might be your best pick.
Buffed By:
- The Eminence in Shadow title (drops from Cid boss)
- Eminence Race
How to Get Shadow:
- Start at Dawnwind Island and find the Cid NPC
- First, unlock Stylish Bandit Slayer by finding 2 Crowbars (one under a tree in town, one in front of town) and taking 5M damage
- Kill 250 Bandits at the starting island with Stylish Bandit Slayer
- Travel to Frostborn Island and find the Shadow NPC at the top of the left mountainside
- You’ll need drops from the Shadow boss in Cid’s Castle Raid (accessible using Cid’s Key, dropped by Bandits at Dawnwind and Snow Bandits at Frostborn)
- Complete Cid’s Castle Raid 5 times to buy Shadow
Shadow Mastery Requirements:
- Q1: Deal 1.5 Billion damage with Shadow
- Q2: Get Eminence Race
- Q3: Get title from Cid boss
- Q4: Kill 75 bosses
- Q5: Clear Cid’s Castle Dungeon 15 times (Hard/Extreme)
4. Gilgamesh (Melee/Style)
Why It’s S-Tier: Gilgamesh holds its own against the other S-Tiers. It has slightly lower damage than Aizen and Raiden but outperforms Shadow in raw numbers. The trade-off is that the animations can feel occasionally sluggish, and it doesn’t offer much special utility—just powerful, high-AOE damage moves.
Buffed By:
- King of Heroes title (drops from Gilgamesh boss)
- Demi God Race
How to Get Gilgamesh:
- Go to Legend’s Arena
- Find the Gilgamesh NPC
- You need drops from the Gilgamesh boss
- Summon the boss using a Holy Grail (crafted from the Gilgamesh Craft NPC)
- Holy Grails are exchanged for Golden Dust (2.5% drop from any mob)
Gilgamesh Mastery Requirements:
- Q1: Deal 750M damage with Gilgamesh, defeat Gilgamesh boss once, obtain Demi-God Race
- Q2: Defeat Shanks (50), Mihawk (50), Ichigo Bankai (35), Saber (25), Sung Jinwoo (2), Rimuru (1), Aizen (2), Gilgamesh (10)
A-Tier Specs
These specs bridge the gap between early-game grinding and S-Tier bosses. You’ll spend most of your mid-game using one of these.
Rimuru (Melee/Style)
Rimuru sits at the top of A-Tier, reaching up to 8M damage. It’s noticeably weaker than S-Tiers but strong enough to grind for them. The requirements are demanding—you need the Slime Race (use the Slime item dropped by the Rimuru boss) and drops from the Rimuru boss itself. Find the NPC on the stone beach at Fossil Island.
Should you get it? It’s worth the grind, but you can also skip it and use Gojo or Sukuna to jump straight to S-Tiers if you prefer.
Buffed By: Demon Lord title, Slime Race
Gojo & Sukuna (Melee/Style)
Both are found at Jujutsu Highschool and require drops from their respective bosses.
- Gojo: Slightly higher DPS than Sukuna. Good for boss fights. Buffed by The Honored One title.
- Sukuna: Lower DPS but I find it easier for farming mobs. Buffed by Curse King title and Curse Race.
My recommendation: Pick whichever you enjoy more. The DPS difference is small enough that it won’t hold you back. Use these to farm for Rimuru or directly for S-Tiers.
Tensa Zangetsu (Weapon)
A solid alternative if you prefer sword builds. Found at Hueco Mundo, you’ll first need Zangetsu from the base Ichigo NPC, then defeat Ichigo (Bankai) 10 times, and buy Tensa using Hollow Mask drops.
Buffed By: Substitute Shinigami title
B-Tier & C-Tier Specs
B-Tier: Excalibur & Player’s Dagger
These two weapons are roughly equal in DPS and usability. Pick based on your preference:
- Excalibur: Buy from the Saber NPC at Legend’s Arena using drops from the Saber boss and a Sword Technique Book (also drops from Sung Jinwoo). Buffed by the King of Knights title.
- Player’s Dagger: Buy from the Sung Jinwoo NPC at Scorched Ruins using boss drops and a Sword Technique Book. Buffed by The Weakest Hunter title and Player Race.
C-Tier
- Verdant Hero (Deku): The best spec to get after Yoru. Found at Legend’s Arena. This is what you’ll use to grind B-Tier and beyond. Buffed by The Ninth Holder title.
- Yoru: Simply the best beginner weapon in the game. Better than any Fruit. Buy it from the Dark Blade Seller at Frostborn Island (top of the island, right side). No special items required.
- Zangetsu: A decent farming tool needed to eventually unlock Tensa Zangetsu. Get it from the base Ichigo NPC at Hueco Mundo with no special requirements.
Best Accessories in Lineage Piece
Your outfit choice matters more than you might think. Accessories directly buff your damage based on your build type.
For Melee/Style Builds (Strength Buffs)
| Outfit | How to Get |
|---|---|
| Gilgamesh’s Outfit | Drop from Gilgamesh boss at Legend’s Arena |
| Aizen’s Outfit | Drop from Aizen boss at Hueco Mundo |
| Rimuru’s Outfit | Drop from Rimuru boss at Fossil Island |
For Weapon Builds (Weapon Buffs)
| Outfit | How to Get |
|---|---|
| Shadow’s Outfit | Drop from Shadow boss in Cid’s Castle Raid |
| Player’s Outfit | Drop from Sung Jinwoo boss at Scorched Ruins |
| Saber’s Outfit | Drop from Saber boss at Legend’s Arena |
Tip: Always match your outfit to your build type. A melee outfit on a weapon build won’t help your damage.
Best Race in Lineage Piece
Here’s something most beginners get wrong: the Race that matches your spec is NOT always the best Race for you.
For example, even if you’re using Sukuna, the Aizen or Demi God Race will still outperform the Curse Race in most cases.
Top Melee/Style Races
- Demi God: Strong on all melee builds, especially with Gilgamesh
- Aizen: Universally strong regardless of your spec
- Slime: Slightly weaker than Demi God, but strong on all melee and especially with Rimuru
Top Weapon Races
- Archon: The strongest weapon race overall, also buffs Raiden specifically
- Eminence: Second-best weapon race, also buffs Shadow
- Player: Third-best weapon race, also buffs Player’s Daggers
Beginner Races
In the early to mid-game, aim for Shinigami for weapon builds and Curse for melee/style builds until you can roll for the top-tier options.
Best Traits in Lineage Piece
Traits provide passive stat bonuses. Since PVP isn’t a major focus in Lineage Piece, you should always prioritize damage over defense.
Here are all traits ranked from best to worst:
| Rank | Trait | Stats | Roll Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | The Ruler of Death | +120% Damage, +65% Health, -30% Cooldown | ??? |
| 2 | Lord Of The Mysteries | +110% Damage, +80% Health, -25% Cooldown | ??? |
| 3 | World’s Betrayer | +75% Damage, +10% Health, -25% Cooldown | 0.25% |
| 4 | Time Breaker | +40% Damage, -25% Cooldown | 0.25% |
| 5 | The Honored One | +45% Damage, +35% Health, -10% Cooldown | 0.25% |
| 6 | Adaptation Genius | +45% Damage, +25% Health, -5% Cooldown | 1.25% |
| 7 | Paragon Core | +35% Damage, +45% Health | 1.25% |
| 8 | True Balance | +25% Damage, +25% Health | 5% |
| 9 | Quickened Mind | +10% Damage, -10% Cooldown | 5% |
| 10 | Adept | +15% Damage, -5% Cooldown | 13.5% |
| 11 | Vanguard | +10% Damage, +20% Health | 13.5% |
| 12 | Strong | +10% Damage | 30% |
| 13 | Trained | +5% Damage, +5% Health | 30% |
What I recommend: Don’t stress about rolling The Ruler of Death right away. Settle for World’s Betrayer or Time Breaker during the mid-game, and only hunt for god-tier traits once you’ve locked in your end-game build.
